The Feast
Spring 2023
"The Feast" is a playful feast for the zhuyin spelling system. In a celebration of Taiwanese culture, this collection of tabletop objects explore the unique and layered structure of zhuyin in order to create comfortable and enjoyable learning environments for non-Taiwanese foreign language learners. Through investigating how play can be incorporated into daily living spaces,"The Feast" works harmoniously alongside cultural foods to create safe and curiosity driven moments of learning. Vibrant colors, surprising-yet-familiar forms, and small moments of discovery stimulate active engagement while supporting the ultimate goal of sharing my rich Taiwanese culture.
